DEDICATION

I dedicate my book, “I AM” to all the amazing women featured on these pages. My old and new friends, and acquaintances who became friends, sometimes after meeting for the first time, sometimes after sharing your intimate experiences. You will always be my lifelong treasures.

I AM beyond grateful that you shared with me your nude selves and expressed a slice of your wisdom in your personal statements. Some of you said, “I did it for you”…others said, “I couldn’t have done it without you.” I know all of you dug deep into your souls and showed me your best selves. And I am grateful that during every session, we could always find the humor and have fun working together. I will always be in awe of how freely we were able to create those experiences. This book would not exist without each and every one of you. I am forever grateful.

Thank you for being powerful and strong, gifted and courageous, bold and edgy, unapologetic and raw, and delivering your unmasked inner beauty. I hope this book enables other women to see themselves, as I see you. I hope this book serves as a reminder to all women to reach out of their comfort zones and find their own inner beauty.

121 is the number of pictures I chose to develop for this book, but I will never stop taking these kinds of photos. I truly cherish the process of creating art from photographing the female body in all its ages, shapes and ethnicities. I feel the world is changing and women are a big part of this change. In fact, I see women awakening and leading this change, creating a more peaceful and benevolent world.

I hope this book serves as a reminder or wake-up call for some people. We, as a society, need to create a more truthful world that places more value on women’s thoughts and feelings than their outer appearances. In the end, we must all participate in creating a better more loving and respectful world.

I extend a special thanks to the friends I turned to for support, motivation, guidance and networking skills, you know who you are!

I am also most grateful for the incredible women who participated and wrote beautiful words for the forewords, Jeanie Marsh-Dawson, Karen Williams, Simone Silverman, Diane Di Costanzo, and Lori Modugno.

A big thank you to my husband, Jens, and my kids, Lana and Jeremy, for your everlasting love and your patience with my artistic passions!

A special thanks goes to Dagny Emiliani and her amazing creativity, her energy and input to transfer my vision on to paper and bring this book to shine. I love you ALL, this book would not have been born without YOU!

Thank you for your trust, love and support – 121 AMAZING WOMEN AND MORE!
